The Business Awards Derbyshire 2010 will be the arena where the county's most talented entrepreneurs and executives prove they are the best in the business.
Co-sponsored by Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber and the Derby Telegraph, the Awards are the liveliest and longest established in the area, and guaranteed to generate media coverage for the winners.
Free to enter and open to any private or public sector organisation in Derbyshire, regardless of size, they provide a widely recognised mark of quality and, for some, a very definite boost to the bottom line.
They will culminate in a glittering gala evening, compéred by a well known figure, during which the finalists' achievements and organisations will be showcased via a short video presentation to an audience of their business peers.
And this year we welcome a new sponsor, the International Trade Forum supporting the Achievement in International Business category.
The Awards encourage those who have pioneered new concepts and innovation; who have excelled in commercial enterprise through exports or increased business - or distinguished themselves with their attitude to workforce development or their commitment to the community. Only the winners will be entitled to display the award emblem on their stationery, packaging and advertising.
The closing date was Friday 20th November, after which the judging panel, chosen from the boards of the sponsors, will draft a shortlist of three nominations per award.
Information and bookings: contact the Business Awards Team on 01332 851281 e-mail: business-awards@dncc.co.uk.
The black tie gala Award dinner will be held at The Roundhouse, Derby on Friday 26th February 26th with pre-dinner drinks sponsored by Marketing Derby Bondholders.
We look forward to receiving your entries, and good luck!
